Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City (former Saigon). Meet and transfer to the hotel for relax after your journey. Enjoy welcome dinner at a local restaurant in a colonial building.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 02: Ho Chi Minh City – city tour (B, L)
Our destinations today are: Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office. After lunch, our driver will take us to Ben Thanh market, Cho Lon (Big Market) and China Town. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta ( My Tho) (B, L)
Today we leave Ho Chi Minh city behind and head to Vietnam's rice basket, the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing.
Back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 04: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel - Fly to Nha Trang (B)
08.00 we will leave busy Ho Chi Minh city for the tunnels of Cu Chi, where are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam.
At Cu Chi tunnel, we see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. On our way there we drive through pleasant countryside: rubber plantations and rice paddies. Afternoon we fly to Nha Trang.

Day 07: Nha Trang – Da Nang – Hoi An
Morning we will take a flight to Da Nang then transfer to Hoi An. we will start walking tour around the ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance.

Day 08: Hoi An Cooking Class
Met up at Hai Scout Café at 98, Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, we have a drink for a short time then we visit Hoi An colorful market to experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
On arrival, explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef’s, before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration).
After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked.

* Lunch includes the above meals as well as:
Steamed Ocean Fish on a bed of Freshly Chopped Vegetables (not included in the demonstration)
The rest of the day is free for relaxing.

Day 09: Hoi An fishing village (B, L)
Pick up at hotel for the transfer to local fishing village. Time to learn about daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. Board our boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Join local fisherman on the river and enjoy hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing.

Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in a basket boat race.
Explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Back our boat, enjoy lunch and return to your hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 10: Hoi An - Da Nang – Hue (B)
This morning, we travel by vehicle to Hue along scenic highway 1A. Along the way we will stop to contemplate South to Danang city and the stunning views North, to Lang Co Beach. Danang city with Cham Museum – the houses of the most complete collection if Cham Artifacts anywhere in the world; Non Nuoc Beach; and the Marble Mountain – the five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire and earth). We will arrive in Hue, then embark on a tour of Hue City including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market.

Day 11: Hue - Hanoi (B, L)
Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in hotel, we board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. This time we head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. From here you will take a drive to visit King Minh Mang's tomb & King Tu Duc tomb.
This afternoon we will take a flight from Hue to Hanoi.

Day 12: Hanoi city tour (B, L)
Today we will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority people.
After that; we get back to city center where we take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Before we go back to hotel, we will have chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show to hear to know Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. Back to your hotel.

Day 13: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)
Morning drive to Halong Bay via Dong Trieu Pottery Village en route. Arrive in Ha Long City, check in board and enjoy lunch on board. A fantastic cruise in Halong Bay to the nets of islands, you will enjoy the beautiful nature and take a walk to one of the biggest caves in Halong. Evening enjoy dinner on board while watching sunset.

Day 14: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)
Today, your family will enjoy a kayaking time discover the floating life of Ha Long Bay fishermen. Continue to cruise in the bay until you reach the shore. And, heading back to Hanoi.

Free at leisure until transferring to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight.
