8:00: We depart from Hanoi to Nga Trai village in Bac Giang province that is far about 50km from Hanoi center, on the way you will see peaceful villages and life in countryside Tonkin.
9.00: Arrive a local’s family and warmly, welcomed by a host. You’re invited to enjoy a welcome drink with local sweeties. Here you will get the chance to see the house architecture and their daily life. Our guide will tell you about the family’s tradition, ancestor worship of Vietnam...
9.15: You get changed and disguised as a real farmer in farming uniform. Next, you will take a bicycle through small alleys to see the daily life of villagers and the amazing rice field. You’ll learn how to transplant rice, plow the land...explores the farming process of wet rice in Vietnam.
10.30: You’ll take part in “Kite Making Class”. The kite is known as a “child-hood toy” for kids in Vietnam. The guide will teach you how to make a kite by yourself. It will be your hand-made souvenir in Vietnam.
12.00: You’ll have lunch at the old house with authentic food of Vietnam
13.30: After lunch, the guide will take you back to Hanoi.
14:30: We will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda as known as the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De, and then keep walking to Quan Thanh Temple, as one of the Four Sacred Temples of the capital.
Keep forward to the peaceful Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam.
Back to the city central, visit Ngoc Son temple then take an hour cycle tour around the old quarter.
