Bac Ninh - Day Trip

Bac Ninh used to be an ancient town, a trade centre of Vietnam from 2nd to 10th century. Many pagodas and temples were built such as Phat Tich, Dau, But Thap pagodas, Dinh Bang Communal House, Do Temple. Bac Ninh is cradle of Quan ho folk-song. The popular festivals take place in many pagodas, temples and communal houses, especially they usually are organized in spring (February to March). Bac Ninh has some tradition handicraft villages such as Dong Ky Wood, Dong Ho Pain, Dai Bai Bronze, Phu Lang Pottery.
Within one day tour, we will have a chance to visit Do temple, enjoy Quan Ho folk song music and visit Dong Ky wood...

We depart from the hotel at 08.00 for Bac Ninh Province. Stop on the way for taking photographs sight-seeing as rice, corn fields.

After one hour driving, we arrive at Dinh Bang village, continuing change to horse drawn carriage or ox cart to visit village surrounding. We will have more knowledge about local life-people; local market with simple goods was sold or walking around long rice field. Refresh atmosphere brings us feel free and more comfortable. We return Do temple to have lunch and enjoy traditional music show “Quan Ho”.

Free time to see the local people and buying some local goods before we leave for DongKy village, which is well-known for its craft of making things of wood with high artistic sophistication. The whole village, in the day-time is full of sawing and chiseling sounds. The main articles made there are furniture of high quality: tables, chairs, cupboards and ornate beds.

We return back to Hanoi at 15.00. End of your service.
