Northern Vietnam Tour – 5 Days

Day 01 Hanoi arrival – Halong City (D)
Pick up at the airport we then transfer directly to Halong city. We arrive in Halong city in the afternoon. We enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Halong City.

Day 02: Halong Bay - Boat trip – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast we will transfer to Halong Bay, the spectacular World Heritage Site. Once there, we will embark on our boat for 4 hour boat trip to visit Halong Bay – The World Nature Heritage. During the time we will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Heaven Palace (Thien Cung) and Dau Go caves, those caves crammed with thousand of stalactites and stalagmites with different colors, shapes and size. Those definitely will stir our imagination. We keep cruising to see many lime stone islands and islets which dotted around the bay including: Incense Bowl islet, Cock Fighting islet, Sail islet, Turtle Island... Seafood lunch will be served on boat. Then we go back to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 03: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Today we have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas; Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Our city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and stilt house); the Presidential Palace; the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Old Quarter; the Temple of Literature; West Lake; the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city's museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). Back to Hoan Kiem Lake for 1 hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter.
In the evening enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance - a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture. Back to your hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 04: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B, L)
Driving along the Highway No 1 around 2,5 hours, we will have chance to explore Halong Bay on Earth of Tam Coc where we take sampan along the Ngo Dong river, being rowed by local people. Hang Ca, Hang Hai & Hang Ba adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes and colors that sparkle like gemstones. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant then we visit the next Hoa Lu Ancient Capital city with King Dinh & King Le before heading back to Hanoi.

Day 05 Hanoi - Departure (B)
Our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to the airport for flight to home. Trip ends.
